An absolute joy to paint this one was. Lots and lots of thick paint and texture make up this abstracted landscape. A beautiful balance of rich colours in the foreground and paler tones towards the “mountains” and sky. Hints of trees, water and fields. Uneven surfaces, well worn marks and thick grain add to the mystic and hidden delight. Mixed media with acryla gouache and acrylic on reclaimed Douglas Fir. A lovely addition to any original art collection.
