LEMON DROP CAKE ORIGINAL

A tall drink of water, this cake has hints of lemon, lime and fig tones. Pin stripe lemon icing with scallops of blue glaze. Berries, pink apples and Nasturtiums atop an edible delight. Baked with love, watercolour, gouache, neon and pen and ink.

Painted on extra-thick handmade "Shikishi" papers from Awagami paper factory in Japan. Delicate but strong with a feathery indigo bottom border, subtle gold flakes and a pretty deckle edge.
